yet another story

I met an old friend o' mine today. he asked me this question >> "Suraiya, are you happy now..?". To that, I answered, "Yes, I am. In fact, I am much much more happier today compared to a month ago". He smiled, and so did I. At that moment I realized that it is not only me who didn't regret the decision I made a month ago, but so did he. And the rest of the aternoon we talked about life protection planning. I was kinda surprise though. He was never in my prospect list, since he was so against my decision to quit my 9 - 5 job. Yet he's the one who got interested to be my client. Guess miracle do happen when and where we least expected.

The other nite my sis-in-law called my mom asking about me not being a whiner on job related matter anymore. Mom said, lately I didn’t bring home my long face from work, and it really shows that I’m happy with my new job. Hmm.. I am!! Y(^o^)/

These days, I found myself smiling again… and again… *winks*

after a long time

Been centuries since the last entry made in this blog o’ mine. Lots o’ things happened, which I’m sure I can’t put it all in this entry... but that's another story, in my another entry..

Aidil fitri this year was the most relaxing ever. I didn't went out much to my relatives' house, stayed home enjoying the tv programmes most of the time and serving foods to the guests who came to the house. Last aidilfitri mom said, this will be how the coming years will be. Since Mom is the eldest in the family, our house has came to be "Rumah Tua" -- where all the family members will gather for when aidilfitri come. I kinda like that idea, usually it's only me me n mom in the house. Besides, Najmil Hazim came to the world last October, Nafha Nabiha turn a year older last August and in that age, size, and zealousness; she stole all the limelight. Oh, Najmil and Nafha are my lil' pumpkins, my nephew and niece.

Yesterday I went to my friends' houses for raya visits. Had one awesome time, lots o' tear streaming laughs, and one bad stomach later that nite, and not to forget my usual late night fever symptom... When we were at Noreen's a guyfriend asked me my weight. All of us stunned for a second, and then I answered to him, there's three questions that one should never pop out to a girl, her age, her weight, and how much does she earned. That answer was followed with laughter from the whole bunch, and I guess that friend of mine got the answer -- or at least I hope he did..?! heheheheh... I asked the guys back is there any question one should never pop out out to a man? It took them about SOME time later to answer the question -- and this is real funny. Fashal answered "a girl should never ask ask a guy how many times did you clean your belly button in a week to a man"... and that was followed by hysterical laughter from the whole buch!! Wonder how true that is... just thinking about it make me laugh again n again... By the way, are there really a question that we women should never ask a guy..?

Oppss! Need to pen down (as if i'm writing using a pen). Syukri called saying that he's coming with the rest of the bunch at 3pm. Need to help mom preparing laksa (yumm..yumm..), and Fidaz's open house is at 4pm..!!

Oh, yeah.. I have an interview tomorrow for the new job on the Prudential AFS thingy. Wish me luck ya..!!!
